Our organization provides educational scholarship to economically vulnerable Haitians that desire to continue their education in order to provide a better life for themselves and their loved ones. The Board of Directors will review all scholarship applications and qualifying individuals will participate in an interview with our organization’s representative. During the interview, our scholarship committee will further assess the applicant’s desire for scholastic growth, future goals, and need for assistance. Based upon the volunteer’s report, the Board of Directors will then make an award determination.

Basic Needs Assistance:
To assist the underprivileged Haitian population with rising medical care costs, our organization will collaborate with physicians to cover medical care expenses when patients cannot afford these services. Our application process includes collecting current contact information, type of medical service needed, proof of inability to pay, and a statement from the physician this is a necessary procedure. All approved funds will be paid directly to the physician to ensure the donation was used for its intended purpose.
In order to provide food and clothing assistance to distressed individuals, our organization will develop a distribution center where families may receive food and clothing items. Our distribution sites operate in a public venue once a week where our staff members distribute food and clothing items at no cost to community seeking aid. Our volunteers also provide handicapped individuals with wheelchairs and crutches during this time.
